Anyone still riding on Wednesdays? I have a new 29er that I plan to break in at around 5pm if anyone is interested. Main parking lot. Going to be more XC based than FR based including some uphills.

I specifically purchased and built my Bottlerocket for Highland. It was an awesome bike for that place. You can hit everything on it with ease. I say go for it if you like the feel of the bike.

Man that sucks. I went and rode Sherwood most of the day. Then I decided to do a few runs on the DH before leaving. On Hellion I washed out on one of the berms and crashed. I ended up smashing my head on the ground and breaking my helmet. One a few bruises fortunately. I packed it up and went home a...

That absolutely sucks. I am very sorry to hear about this situation. Any loss of a bike is terrible, let alone all of them on the way to a bike journey... Maybe I missed it in the description, but how exactly did the rig hit you? Were you traveling on the highway and then needed to slow down when yo...

Since I haven't ridden my DH bike in a while, I figure I better get on it before heading to Highland on Friday. Been riding the XC and DJ all summer. Does anyone still head out to LW on Wednesdays? Planning to ride at 5:30 if anyone is around. Raw F-Bomb.... Rick and other LW diehards - anything new...

Wow. That reminds me of my buddy dave who exploded his hartail on NE Style. On the wood step up/drop off he came off that and his frame broke into 3 pieces. Headtube sheared off and the downtube snapped in half. We figured he cracked it on the first drop (the big one) and that drop finished it off. ...

Definately bring it back and talk to the owner/manager and tell them what happened. If there is a chance that a new guy did work on it, they should know about it and hopefully correct the issue so it does not happen again.

"My store" could have been worded better. The shop I work at part time is Caster's in Warwick/Providence. My boast was that Thomson had a cool new product and the only way to get it quickly ( and not wait for a distributor to sell through existing inventory) was through a shop EP. Again ap...

If you actually bothered to read into why I posted the EP info - which was to show how great Thomson is as a company - and actually looked beyond your usual biotch sessions, you would understand that I posted up the EP comment as a reference to timing only. It was to show that Thomson was doing thei...

The point was that Thomson made a stem that has a new logo. Sorry if you took anything else away from that.

People love to biotch/whine/complain about anything...
