Post Vietnam TTF Report
The purpose of this post is so people can report any problems with the Technical Trail Features (TTFs) on the NEMBA parcel in Vietnam.

We, the Vietnam Land Management Committee (VLMC), ride Vietnam regularly but don't always get to each TTF every time out so we'd like your help to monitor any issues. The issues we are referring to are things like damaged or eroded transitions, fallen trees, loose rocks etc.

Also, please report any braids that are forming, rogue stunts or anything else that seems amiss or out of place.

We also ask that you refrain from offering design ideas or criticisms in this post and keep it to just TTF issues. We always want to hear any ideas you may have, both pro and con, so feel free to send me or any of us a PM any time.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

The VLMC (...on BS, If_Rider, Splat, Vos, Dirtrider2)

Post Ruts in the halfpipe area
FYI - There's a few rather large ruts in the kicker and the step-up in the halfpipe at Vietnam. Some knuckleheads rode these stunts while the ground was thawing and rutted them up pretty good. We got out last Saturday early morning while the ground was FROZEN.

Looks like we have some added work to do when we start trailwork on 4/1.

Please stay off the soft trails while the ground is thawing.

Note: we start Tuesday night Trailwork 4/1.

I took a look at some of the berms yesterday. At least half of them should not be ridden (of course they have been).

The step up in the halfpipe area is kind of "bare" in the top middle, rocks starting to show through the dirt, no longer smooth. FYI. Other than that, trails were great.

Post Re: Vietnam TTF Report
I just got back into riding after taking years off and I used to go to 'Nam before it was shut down and bought by NEMBA...like I said...YEARS! Well, I went today for the first time in 7 years or so and I have to commend everybody that worked on the trails. Granted, I saw 3/4 of the stunts and went right around them, but they looked great! Maybe I need to look harder on the boards, but are there group rides at Nam? No, Im not in great shape (otherwise, I wouldnt be fatguyonabike) nor do I have half the gumption most of you guys have, but I love to get out there, ride and have fun. Any information would be greatly appreciated...thanks all!

It's unofficial but you can still park there.

I rode there yesterday. I also have to commend everyone that has busted their butts to making NAM an unbelievable place to ride (I am not one of them). There were a lot of new people out there and all of them were in awe of the trails. I did see some ruts in the berms that have firmed back up and probably need to be filled in. I wouldn't mind helping out if you need an extra pair of hands.
