Post Strava - smartphone app
Is anyone using the the app Strava when they go riding (http://www.strava.com)? I just read about it and there seems to be some controversy brewing about it. Looks pretty cool to me. I just downloaded the app to my iPhone and will be trying it out the next time I ride.

Whats the controversy? I use it on my rides, fun to keep track of your rides, and adds a bit of competition with my riding buddies.

Stupid lawsuit. The family and lawyer that filed that suit should be sued for wasting time. Just a shot at a money grab.

I couldn't agree more. I feel that all of this controversy is ridiculous! What's next, a lawsuit b/c we hurt ourselves during a real DH or XC race? Stupid!

You have to love people who try to bring a lawsuit because they were stupid. If your doing something dangerous and you get hurt chalk it up to a great story.
Take responsibility for your own actions.
Just my humble opinion.

I agree, it's a ridiculous law suit. I use the cyclemeter app to track my rides.

I would say put it on a dirt bike then rip up the trails.
That should make for some competitive times.
