Highland Opening For Season

NORTHFIELD, NH - Highland Opening Day: May 7th, 2010
With spring upon us, I am sure many of you out there have been bitten by the DH/FR bug already. Well the wait is almost over! Highland Mountain will be opening its doors for the 2010 season on Friday, May 7th and with all the expansions in the works already completed this could be one of the best seasons on record.
What does Highland have in store for us this season? According to a Facebook and Twitter posting, there will be a new trail named “Happy Hour”. At this time there is no further information on this new trail but video should be up “soon”. Hellion has been expanded and is one step closer to becoming another trail with sustained jumps from mountain top to lift bottom. The most significant change Highland made in the off season will be open this summer and is dubbed the HTC (Highland Training Center). The HTC will boast 8,400 square feet of indoor riding space, ramps and a foam pit. The pricing will be based per session and is not included in the 2010 Season Pass.
